Life is
FRAGILE.
Every time I look at
this photo,
I want to
remove the
"SCAR"
from the petal on the
farthest right.
But I always decide to
leave it
ALONE.
I see it as
INDICATIVE
of the
SCARS
we accumulate
throughout
LIFE.
The
SCARS
that make us
REAL.
The
SCARS
that show we have
LIVED
and
SURVIVED.
And,
to reiterate was
I just said:
My scars tell a story. They are a reminder of times when life tried to break me, but failed. They are markings of where the structure of my character was welded.

lovely image and lovey words - I wear my scars with pride; they are my testimony.
ReplyDeletethanks for sharing with us at Photo Friday!
I know what you mean about making the flower 'perfect'. And I certainly understand how you feel about scars. We all have them, but knowing they are a sign that you are a survivor makes all the difference in your attitude.
ReplyDeleteThat's lovely - what a gorgeous shot! Full of lovely light, and you show the delicacy of the flower so well.

ReplyDeleteAbsolutely stunning image!
ReplyDeleteThat's a beautiful image and words Linda,
ReplyDeleteI once said how unhappy I was about wrinkles starting to appear and a young girl said but they show how much you've laughed and the journey you've made so far. Wise words from someone so young.
Have a wonderful week ;D
That is beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI'm a breast cancer survivor who's been widowed twice. Like all of us, I know that our scars are not just on the outside but the inside as well.
ReplyDeleteSo lovely and inspirational! Thank you so much for sharing this encouragement at Friday Frivolity!! You're amazing!!
