It's always been said that
END OF STORY.
Father Time is not always a hard parent and though he tarries for none of his children, often lays his hands lightly upon those who have used him well; making them old men and women inexorably enough, but leaving their hearts and spirits young and in full vigor. With such people the gray head is but the impression of the old fellow's hand in giving them his blessing, and every wrinkle but a notch in the quiet calendar of a well-spent life.

Interesting post! That flower is gorgeous, and the sentiment...I have a girlfriend who is absolutely terrified of wrinkles, but I'm not sure that I can be bothered too much. It is what it is, they are what they are. I'm not at the point yet where I'm willing to accept my ever-greying hair, but it's coming.ReplyDelete
Thanks for sharing with us at Photo Friday!
I've got the wrinkles too, although not quite on the Mick Jagger scale.ReplyDelete
I enjoyed your post. I hope you'll link up at http://image-in-ing.blogspot.com/2015/11/sparkling-crystal.html

Okay, you got me with this one. The photo is nice and I love the first part of your post. Interesting twist comparison. Found you over at #PhotoFriday with JenReplyDelete
I think Robert Redford is even more handsome with wrinkles, Linda. What say you? Thanks for sharing at Five Star Frou-Frou! Love Mimi xxxDelete
Love the flower. Wrinkles, not so much ;)ReplyDelete
I think you have a point! I believe I am blessed with good genes. My grandmother and mother do not have wrinkles at all. In my case, I do not see a lot wrinkle signs on my face. I know people younger than me with noticeable wrinkles. Hope things continue going "smooth."ReplyDelete
The old men, not so much... sad, I remember when they were all the bees knees. Sadly, it happens to us all.
Love this post! Interesting perspective and thoughts. Thank you for sharing at Friday Frivolity!ReplyDelete
