FOCUS FRIDAY: PRESENCE

Witnessing a
SKY
like this,
how can one
deny the
PRESENCE
of a
HIGHER POWER?

MAN,
despite his
INTELLIGENCE,
is certainly
not capable
of creating such
WONDER.

PRESENCE.

. . . I mean, how can anybody look at this
and not believe there is some higher power,
some divine force at work in the universe greater than man,
some god that created it, that created all this, that created us?
- Katharine Hepburn -

An interesting perspective:
DEISM:
Derived from the Latin word "Deus" meaning "God", deism is a theological/philosophical position that combines the rejection of revelation and authority as a source of religious knowledge with the conclusion that reason and observation of the natural world are sufficient to determine the existence of a single creator of the universe.

The classical view of the deist takes what is called a "cold" approach by asserting the non-intervention of deity in the natural behavior of the created universe. In other words, the belief that "God" created the universe, but remains apart from it and allows his creation to administer itself through natural law.
