I have come to regard November as the older,
harder man's October.
I appreciate the early darkness and cooler temperatures.
It puts my mind in a different place than October.

I am in love with all these fall leaves. I love the colors and while I am not a fan of what follows I will enjoy every minute left before the snow falls and covers the last of the leaves.ReplyDelete
There's something so magical about leaf skeletons, so delicate and pretty. October/November is spring however and I find it hard to imagine autumn right now.ReplyDelete
Beautiful fall colors - nice shot!ReplyDelete

What a beautiful leaf! Like Purfylle says - the leaf skeleton is amazing, and you've done such a lovely job of capturing that detail. Beautiful photo! Thank you for sharing it with us at Photo Friday!ReplyDelete
That's about what it's like here in Wyoming too. But with lots less leaves! :) Enjoying our first snow!ReplyDelete

Beautiful color and textures!ReplyDelete
I LOVE vignettes of autumn colors. Very nice work.ReplyDelete
I was really like this post until I got to the very end and you spoke of Summer's death. Winters in Wisconsin are beautiful. I have family in several parts and have visited both in the Fall, Winter, and Summer months. Its been awhile. I'll have to plan a trip in the upcoming year.ReplyDelete
I look forward to your Friday focus every week!! Thanks for sharing on My 2 Favorite things on Thursday!! Hope to see you again this week! Pinned!ReplyDelete
